Hotel - Customer Policies

RESERVATION AND PAYMENTS POLICY:

  • Children under 12 stay free with an adult in the room.
  • A surcharge of $25.00 per person per night applies for more than 2 guests in the room and is automatically added to your rate during booking.
  • RESORT FEE

    The additional daily resort fee of $28.13 includes: a Welcome Drink, Self-Parking, WiFi, Continental breakfast, Access to Game Room, Access to Fitness Center, Pool towels, Pool loungers, Access to Bicycles (upon availability), Access to Fish Cleaning Stations (2) and daily Housekeeping (limited during Covid-19).
  • Pool hours are 8am to 10pm. Minors (under the age of 14) must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. There is no lifeguard on duty, so swim at your own risk. No diving is allowed. Outside coolers, food or beverages and portable speakers are not welcome in the pool area.
  • We offer free parking within our gates in dedicated parking areas. Vehicles above 10 feet or Boats will be assigned a spot upon check-in. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur. Parking is at your own risk.
  • The Federal does not accept pets, but service animals are welcome. If pets or its dirt are detected in the room, a $250.00 cleaning fee will be charged.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and enclosed areas such as conference/meeting rooms, private offices, elevators, restrooms and lobby area. If smoking is detected in a room, a $250.00 cleaning fee will be charged.
  • A Credit Card is required at time of Check-In for incidentals. If no CC is available, kindly provide another form of payment. For any questions, please call the hotel directly at 305-289-7662.
  • Any incidental destruction will be charged directly to the guest upon discover of any damages done to property by guest or visitors upon check out. This includes phone calls, pet damages, or damaged or missing hotel items.
  • No in-room parties allowed. All noise must cease at 10:00pm.
  • The Federal does not assume any liability for any loss, injury or damage sustained by you, your companions or your property from use of the Resort facilities which are used entirely at your own risk.
  • The Federal will not be responsible for any negligence including doors left open in unoccupied rooms or the loss of unprotected valuables. Safe deposit boxes are available inside the rooms or at the Front Desk for your convenience. We are not responsible for stolen or damaged vehicles.

CHECKING IN / OUT:

  • Check-In time is 3pm.
  • Check-Out time is 11am.
  • If arriving after 11pm, kindly reach out to our Front Desk team before 11pm at 305-289-7662 to advise on your arrival time. We will then ensure someone will be available to check you in.

DEPOSIT, CANCELLATION AND CHANGE POLICY:

OTHER CANCELLATIONS:

  • Hurricane Policy: We are not responsible for delays, interruptions, cancellations or inconveniences in your trip due to weather. However, if you have a confirmed reservation and you are due to arrive within 24 hours and an evacuation order is in effect due to a hurricane warning, you will receive a full refund, or you can transfer any deposit to a future stay. If you have already arrived on the island and an evacuation order is place you will receive a full refund for the unused portion of your stay.
